Job Description

We have an opening for an Apprenticeship in HV mechanics specialising in GSE.  This opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a keen interest in things mechanical.  You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team on a full-time basis.  Our Sydney team comprises 40 talented full-time staff (and growing).  The team has developed a healthy and vibrant working environment with daily operations running with clear and effective systems, procedures, equipment, and people with an overarching commitment to safety through Zero Harm principles. 

You will be directly employed by TCR and based at our Sydney GSE Repair and Maintenance Workshop located onsite at the Sydney International Airport.  We will support you through 4 years of the job practical training and a prescribed TAFE course of study, during which you will have the opportunity to travel across sites for specific equipment training needs.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a current driver's license

  • Willingness to undertake ASIC background checks for airport security access

  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical check
